Wow that thing is thin...it has adequate cooling like that? And $250? I think I've found the card to buy this holiday!

Oh yeah, and I played the Crisis single player demo last night at a LAN party...very awesome graphics, especially with my one friend who has Vista and DX10. Granted, his system was absurdly bleeding edge awesome, but the jump from DX9 to 10 was AWWW!!!!!

What kind of framerates did he get at what settings? I've read reports of bleeding edge systems getting 5 frames per second at high resolutions with the game set to 'high'.

That review says the fan is louder than the dual slot 8800's, and from the reported temps it looks like it runs about as hot as my 7800gtx, so I suppose it cools okay....I do have to have my case open for demanding games with my setup, but my computer room stays around 81 degrees all the time.

I don't mind dual slot, so I hope we get some quality *quiet* dual slot 3rd party coolers. Or, I guess I could just buy a case like this one

Well the friend with DX10 didn't max it all out when using DX10...he kept the AA and AF lower if I recall correctly...I'm not sure though.

And I don't know what the framerate was, but it looked like about 30 fps...with dips at intensive times.  So yeah, not that great, but it looked soooo good.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
