When I say "choosing who to hear" I mean people you know or have at least spoken to on a message forum.
I'm still against hearing people I don't know swearing in my living room. Parental controls for online chat I'd be happy with.
I want to know I can leave a child playing a game rated for their age group without them being subjected to sick, racist, foul mouthed rants.
