He is also a notorious PS3 Fanboy attempting to defend one of the least useful, and most harmful members to ever enter the VGC community. Bringing up Crazzyman and attempting to get any kind of real conversation going shows someone is going crazy.
The reason Crazzyman gets dumped on, and John Lucas doesn't is really quite simple. John never argued his point to the bitter end. The rabbid Wii trolls at the time did all the work for him. So he made some ridiculous claims, but ultimately left it at that. Crazzyman would defend it in an ever spiraling trollfest that made less sense everytime he continued to post. He would also go out of his way to try and "prove" his assertions and apply them everywhere. Am I the only one who remembers his attempt to convince everyone that the winning console always "doubles" their sales after the first year?
Although the other funny part is that no one seems to remember how much heat John got for his predictions. The problem was the Wii was proving a lot of the trolling wrong at the time. So while the forums adjusted to the Wii being the winning console, John Lucas got to be put up as the cheer leader who saw it from the beginning and everyone just forgets the people who spoke out against him. He had plenty of people calling him a terrible troll and wishing he was banned from the forums. They just mostly moved on after their side lost.
