Before I leave for real, I had an idea. Maybe it'll look stupid in the morning but here it is:
The following will last 6 months:
- notice in loser's signature to the effect of "___ LOST A BET WITH ____: __ outsold ___ after X months WW" (Where it goes in the loser's sig is the winner's choice -- top, bottom, etc.)
- Any time the winner enters a thread the loser is in, the loser must post, "Greetings, master ___." (___ being the winner's name of course)
- Any time the loser enters a thread the winner is in, he must begin his post with "Pardon the intrusion, master ___"
- If the loser fails to notice the presence of the winner entering a thread (his next post isn't ^^^), then if anyone points this out, the loser must post "A thousand pardons, masters ___ and ___!" (the other one being the one who pointed it out, if not the winner)
- If the loser fails to notice that the winner was already in the thread AND the winner posted on the most recent page or in the first page, then (same as above)
I'm setting myself up for trouble since I'm pretty forgetful, but this seems like an amusing way to spice up the bet to my sleep-deprived mind.
