There is only one area of the game, as I recall, that you play as Ashley; it's in the castle.  She has to solve several puzzles, including one of those puzzles where there are nine spaces, and 8 mixed-up tiles, and you have to slide them around (you can't pick up the tiles) until they make a picture.
