What I mean is, during this period of sales 22-29, most ps3 phat stock sold out. Now according to thousands of posts before me, there are much less than 100 thousand consoles (really guessing here at 40-50k) in stores across america at any given time (except holidays and sales days like Black Friday).
Having halted shipments, the figure was probably on the low end, and the slims probably brought it up to the high end. Then after sales stopped and shipments weren't going to be in for a week, some higher traffic outlets might have broken street date and sold their slims as well and had to wait another 1-2 days for shipment.
So, this must be a smaller sales period than next week, which is good news.
