Judging from only one quality point isn't what I would do when making choices on what game to buy. For Example, Etrian Odyssey for the DS is one of the most difficult RPGs this generation, yet I prefered FFIV(which is also difficult though much easier btw) and would buy it over etrian odyssey anyday. Btw I have no trouble with difficult games if that is what you think. I would look at more points if I were you. Since difficulty is a priority though, I would keep it as such. Having said that, Fire Emblem is a great series, but have you ever played an SRPG? It is a hard genre to get into. This isn't because of the challenge only, but because the format they follow isn't a very popular one and can bore many. Also I wouldn't recommend Fire Emblem as a good entry into the genre, even when it is one of the best there is. If you are still hooked on getting Fire Emblem then, I would ask which do you want, Path of Radiance(Gamecube) or Radiant Dawn(Wii)? I also recommend Shadow Dragon(DS) which is a remake of the first game, but you seem to be looking for a console game. They all can be found for a similar price, though Path of Radiance is hard to find.
