Probably not, because the first MP was revolutionary and of course it isn't anymore seven years later, so this little score bonus from back then is no longer valid. On the other hand the new controls improve the game.

Overall the fairest way would be a score that settles somewhere in the middle of the three individual games, because while there is nothing revolutionary about them anymore, it's still a package of three great games for the price of one. I don't see how someone could justify to give MPT a lower score than each individual game. They aged very well, even more so with the updated controls.

Even the original has aged well?  I was reading the thread about differences and saw that there were a few minor graphic improvements too.

As dtewi already asked, are you saying this is a good or a bad thing?

Obviously it is a good thing if they made a few graphic improvements here and there. Complaining about that would be as silly as saying that the games should have kept the Gamecube control schemes. If there's a possibility to update a classic in a good way, it should be done. It only makes the game better.

Hm... leaving out the "a" changed the whole meaning of that sentence.  Woups.

Anyway, you didn't answer my question.  Has the original MP aged well?
