too funny, microsoft is smart, microsoft is desperate to keep ahead, who cares about elite for 299.00. you could have a 360 for 200 bucks with a harddrive for 249.00. most people have been waiting for sony to drop the price, the ps3 is what is wanted. sony knows that why should they spend a bunch more money for no reason. its actually sony is smart. why do you think ps3 sales are through thr roof, and 360s are NOT
