The shocker would be if the Slim WASN'T beating the elite.
The issue is that 50% of the Xbox 360's sold are Arcades. They didn't drop the price. Whereas 100% of the PS3's had a price drop.
Having said that, I hope both price drops help both console sell better. Always good when there's a healthy competition, and I think this move by both companies may eat into Nintendo's market share until they decide to finally drop the price on their comparatively expensive device.
Back from the dead, I'm afraid.
