When a game disappears from the computers but not from the shelves, stores often do not know what to do with it. Often, it will remain at full price until a manger decides to discount (or destroy) the item.
I once found Sega Master System games at a Montgomery Ward sometimes after the release of the Playstation (late 1990s). I badgered the clerk into selling me the games for $10 (I threatened to call Chicago -- MWs HQ).
I have seen Wal-Marts with overpriced/outdated items. I have also seen things shipped over to the clearance aisles.

I am Mario.I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
