Actually, I think it's a lot easier to make it with 3D models moving in a 2D plane than it is to make it all with sprites.

I would like to see a big franchise with a sprite based 2D platformer for a home system. The WarioLand for Wii looked okay, but not half as good as Murumasa. I want a Mario or DKC or Sonic with Murumasa quality true 2D.
