Graphics Whore Showdown Round 1: Metal Gear Solid 4 vs Gears of War 2

If that's the case then RE5 is the best looking console game EVER. It's the only game I can play infront of Family members and they literally sit next to me and watch thinking it's a movie. Then they notice things like Square popping up on screen a few times and finally decide to look at my hands and say "Wait, this a video game?? Thought you were watching a movie". I can't blame them, the detail on Chris is AMAZING, and when you're not looking to closely the scenery is pretty well done, especially when you spend most of the time running for your life and shooting, a spectator wouldn't notice any poor details.

I know, that's exactly what I mean. All I'm trying to do is put my own variation of response to the considered comparison. I think Gears vs KZ / MGS vs RE5 would have been a smarter comparison since they share more common graphical paths if you will.
