This is the problem with the Wii imo - the Mario Kart and Brawl scenes are too competitive and often shun people away from the console. Next time you Mario Kart pros are about to lap somebody, take a second and ask yourselves if humiliating the player is really worth losing him to another console. If you think it is, by all means. I just know that if I was ever lapped in Mario Kart Wii I would have to put down the console and play Phoenix Wright some more.
