multiplayer focused = One of these games that are not even worthy to play alone. Like the Crystal Chronicles series, Zelda Four Swords or the Pac-man game for the game cube.
Cmon, most of the time everyone plays alone. Its rare to put other people in the room to play gamer´s games.
And if this multiplayer focused experience is online bound? Better, but looking at the current online offerings on wii....
