6. Count their money and laugh at the money the HD systems have lost so far? 
Seriously, the reason that PS3 cut its price was because it was falling below 40k/week in the US and Others, and below 10k/week in Japan. MS felt that they would lose marketshare since the libraries between the PS3 and 360 are very similar, so they needed to make a competitive price to keep control over the HD gaming market.
Nintendo is so far in the lead, it would take until the next gen of consoles for the HD systems to catch up.
In the long of it, people still are buying Wiis at a good pace. Until the Wii sales drop down to where the PS3/360 are, don't expect them to do much, since they really don't need to. Their current strategy is doing well.
