Yes, I've played it. In fact I played it on a 1080p TV, while I only played MGS4 on a 720p. MGS4 has better lightning, everything casts real-time shadows (kind of like Crysis), and as said before MGS4's character models are better than GoW2's. Gears has better textures, but MGS4 wasn't overly impressive in that department anyway.
