I bought one of these for our bedroom a month ago and it gets the job done. No where near the PS3 quality, but as a secondary player it works. And with catalog Blu-Ray movie prices finally dropping (Our local Walmart has a bunch for $10-$15) this could be a good stepping stone for people looking to jump on the Blu-Ray bandwagon.

Well.. how is the quality in picture diffrent?

I only own one BR Player, but when I got a cheap DvD player vs my Sony DvD player (cost $80 more) I saw no diffrence in picture..

I did notice the diffrence in upscale DvD's tho..

It's slow to load.  There are screen artifacts that I don get with the PS3.  It's not 2.0 compliant.  No wifi connection for firmware updates.  It also doesn't play videogames .  But despite all that, for under a hundred bucks I can watch all my Blu-ray's in bed so it is still worth it.
