No, it is a fact.

I don't why people are over-reacting about this...while it is probably due to the transition between the two models.

 

It's probably because you didn't say that in your original post.  You stated the sales as "hilarious" and said nothing of the facts surrounding this data.

Until then, the facts surrounding the data (shortages, price drop and people willing to wait) are different than giving a source.  Heck, I don't even need to check the article, it's on the darn front page of vgchartz.
