As the screenshot above proves, it is possible to upscale Wii games to 1080p. A new version of Wii would be needed in order to upscale, which is the subject of this thread.

HD means High Definition, which refers to resolution. It's also the graphical buzzword of this gen. An HD Wii would satiate most graphic hungry gamers.
