Was this one e-mail, or multiple?
Still pretty sure Other M isn't 2D. Or if it is, only in a limited capacity, like Galaxy was. The only speculation on its 2D nature is just that, derived from one tiny chunk of the trailer where Samus jumps perfectly parallel to the "screen," as it were. Could just be coincidence, and that's what i'm leaning towards, since the enemies are moving around her in 3 Dimensions in that same shot.
