PS3 has always had a better hardware value over the X360. It's the reason I like my PS3 over my X360. However, the lower price, some better exclusives, better time exclusives, better download content, etc, has driven X360 sales.
When we see some of the long term sales and more of the promised PSN content we can tell if this new price means anything.
