The videogame industry is a dog eat dog business, but some dogs are just bigger. Westwood met a similar fate when EA aquired them and is one of the biggest losses in the industry in years imo. I'm afraid this will happen to Free Radical as well since Crytek bought them, I have no reason to believe that Crytek will let them operate they way they're used to.
Kinda sad.
