Thats a new one on me, I remember having a bitch of a time aiming in that fight but never had the reticule actually stick.
The best I can do for you suggest some basic things like: double check the sensor bar and make sure you have a clear line of sight with it and make sure nothing is covering either the Wii-mote sensor or the bar's IR LEDs.
That probably won't be the issue but its worth checking. In any case if you are still having trouble I would advise contacting Nintendo customer service at 1-800-255-3700, or email them, or look at their FAQ on their website.
