That's the other half of the point I didn't bold.  That I agree with.  He doesn't draw like a lot of anime you see today. 

The problem is that he has like 4-5 character designs that he recycles for just about everything which really kills any sense of originality in his works.

He understood what I really meant and about the characters looking the same. He's doing what most manga/anime artists are doing. In their own style, the basic built of a character is pretty much the same to each other. It's the hair, colour scheme and clothes that makes a difference.

I'll just leave it at that and agree to disagree.
