this thread proves that it's more than a few people, and one of them is CGI himself.  He said he thinks the gap will be 2 million by sept 2010.  Try doing the math on that a sec buddy.

go ahead and break down your prediction to show how it could happen reasonably.  You're telling me that the PS3 is gonna outsell the wii by 3.11 million in 1 year, even though it's only sold 3.3 million in 3 years.  Face it, it's a fanboy prediction. 

There's the label I knew would crop up at some point. Read the edit in my previous post and leave your has-been labels at the door. People who can't debate reasonably (i.e. without labels) must have...

A. A specific motive

B. A weak argument

By the way, you didn't answer my question, since I don't agree with the OP, how am I insecure?

I said it in the edit, I didn't care to sit and do a realistic calculation because this thread is ridiculous. In other words, I agree that it's pointless and made that clear to the OP.

And for the record, no I don't care if the Wii continues to outsell the PS3. I've said it before that the PS3 would end this gen in last place, yes even behind the 360.

PS: Your posting is usually one-sided, so let's not go around pointing fingers...

Let's try to understand, the PS3 has A LOT of catching up to do. I'm not saying it won't start closing in on some of these gaps, it will. However, it isn't in this vacuum where the Wii, or 360 for that matter, don't exist. The other consoles will STILL sell next to the PS3, it's just that the PS3 will sell more than before.

You don't have to break it down much, it doesn't take long to see that it's beyond impossble.

For the record my post was about the overconfidence of Sony fans after finding out about the slim.  This thread is a key example of this, it wasn't about being insecure.  I know that was a little unclear. 

My posting isn't one sided, I try to be as fair as possible using the facts i know.  Threads like this are just pathetic, so many Sony fans get drawn in and automatically agree without even thinking.  There are plenty of good Sony fans on this site, but there's plenty of trash too. 

How is the debate not reasonable?  What is unreasable is saying the PS3 is gonna outsell the wii by 3.11-3.61 million in 1 year in Japan
