Actually, she can and she did, you just didn't noticed... Remember that she did wonders in marketing for Frito Lay for 13 years, and she's one of the people responsible for redesigning Yahoo after Google started to take the lead in search engines... That's why she's in Advertising Age's Top 100 marketers, and that's also why Nintendo hired her as Reggie's replacement in sales & marketing...

The thing with her is that her best work is off-camera and off-stage, in the background, or doing interviews... But when she jumps on stage she turns really annoying, whether she's being serious or trying to be fun...

 

They still should have found someone else because Nintendo knows in the gaming biz you need someone with stage presence that gets people to want your products,Reggie when he held the posistion did that and still does as pres of NOA.

She fumbles around pisses people off and just annoys.  If she is so good behind the scenes then keep her there and just let Reggie sell it.  Reggie is Nintendo's on stage Steve Jobs because not only does he help run things but when he talks people listen.  When Cammie talks people want to get out of the room like the final moments in the film Carrie.

I agree with you on finding someone else to join Reggie and Iwata in the keynote department while she keeps doing what she does best: Marketing (in the background)... What i argued with you was the statement of "Cammie could not sell a glass of water to a thirsty man in a desert." (if she can multiply the sales of snacks no one needs to eat, she can sell water to a thirsty man) but i'm with you in keeping her off-stage...

BTW: I always mock her saying she's a "crazy-soccer-mom-sarah-palin-wannabe", obviously she came first, and i'm insulting a succesful business woman by comparing her to the death-panel-bimbo, but i just like typing that phrase...

About the Natal guy, he was really annoying...
