Should I trade in my original fat 60 gig PS3 for a slim?

depends on how much you get for it.

If you can get like 600 I would do it. Get a Slim and a nice amount of games with. You could probably get a little more than 600 though.

I would only do it if you don't care about BC and you're ok with only 2 USB ports and no card readers.
