How about we compare PS3 software sales to XBox 360 sales? PS3 sold more software in the US this week as long as you exclude Halo 3. Oh, and also exclude Half-Life 2: The Orange Box, Beautiful Katamari, NBA 2K8, Skate, FIFA 08, Tony Hawk Proving Ground, Madden NFL 08, Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles, Guitar Hero II, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Gears Of War, Thrillville: Off the Rails, NBA Live 08, Project Gotham 4, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, Crash of the Titans, Spiderman: Friend or Foe, Bioshock, and Tom Clancy Rainbow Six: Vegas.
Without those 20 games, PS3 is right up there with XBox 360! So really the PS3 is doing pretty well in software sales.
