Anybody can't call themselves a true gamer if they haven't at least owned and exhaustively played any game console at any point in their lives. On the other hand, you could spend your whole life playing PC games, and if you never owned/ played Nintendo/Sega/Sony or any other japanese game exclusive to any of their consoles, you can't seriously call yourself a videogamer. You can perfectly game on consoles and forget about PC gaming, but not viceversa. If you ignore console gaming, you miss too much.

actually, once again you're stating YOUR opinion, so this doesn't end the thread or anything else in any way.

I don't get his opinion either.  Every genre that's on consoles is also on PC.


There are entire genres either not on consoles or play like shit on them.  (Simulator management games like Baseball Moghul and RTS as examples.)
