This whole discussion looks like a bunch of people running around and screaming for no reason...
Guys, software is sold, hardware is sold, sometimes they're sold together. What you see in the charts doesn't change reality. As long as it's possible to read charts and understand what the reality of software and hardware sales is, the charts are fulfilling their purpose. If the charts mislead you, it just means that you didn't get your facts straight in the first place, and you'd never be able to do an accurate reading.
