It does not matter much, the bottom line was that Sony isn't remotely in the position to bankrupt.

Like I often stated, I think this generation is far from over (for the PS3). I also don't consider the Nintendo Wii to be in the exact same market segment or technology generation, like the PSP or PS2. I have always stated this from the very beginning, I view the Wii more as strictly a toy console and the PS3 more as a multimedia console.

That may upset some people, but that's my opinion and never ever made a secret of this.

Your bottom line is correct, but Sony cant give away 100M consoles for free by selling off their assets, and that's what I was referring to.

And yes, the PS3 could well end up selling 80M by the end of it's lifecycle, but it won't beat the Wii. It doesn't matter if the Wii is a toy or an ice-cream maker, it will still sell more.
