Actually I do admit when I am wrong and when corrected politely I usually even thank the person who points this out to me.

It's also not like the original post doesn't highlight some things I underestimated, like for example the success of the Wii (not being successful itself, but the sheer amount of success). Before the Wii's launch some people were spelling Nintendo's doom and were even speculating on the company's exit from home console market. I then stated I thought Nintendo would be well more successful with the Wii than they were with the GameCube and thus I thought such doommongering (from some XBox fans) were uncalled for (like some have been speculating on "Sony's bankruptcy"). But actually it overtook the 360 in a jiffy and went past it in such a way unancitipated by me.
