Taking my time to think about it i don't think it is going to be as high as a lot of you are saying.
Reason for this is simple. Basically here in the UK at least the PS3 was selling for about £279 in shops, that was in some cases with games etc (Gamestation did a choose any new game deal etc).
So the price cut is only really £30. Now that is a lot better then no price cut but i can't see people rushing out and paying £249 in droves. It is still a lot of money at the end of the day and the people who really wanted one would have already got one because that £30 difference is less then a new game.
So i expect the first week sales to be at least an 100% increase such as the trend has been with previous cuts. So i will say 250k worldwide for 1st week. Then once we get to holidays it will go on to sell very well, especially if GOW3 and GT5 are released.
