I wonder how much of this is brought on by
-- the meaning of the quotes being lost (unintentionally or otherwise) in translation
-- the perception that the segment of the Wii user base most interested in the game also has an HD console
-- the fact that the Wii fighter category is dominated by SSBB and two exclusive titles are set to be released (in NA with one already out in JP).
-- the fact that three years after release and with a 49% market share, companies still use double-talk about the Wii.
By the way, given that Namco did We Ski and We Ski and Snowboard aimed at the BB market, it probably is not a specialized controller issue.

PS -- I would grouse much less -- probably just saying it is that company's loss -- if they were honest. And the more I think about it, the less I would grouse as time goes by. These are business decisions. They should be treated as such and explained as such -- not with BS.
