Not really. If the PS3 does gets competitive with the wii in Japan it would probably be in the same situation the DS, and PSP are in. Every week a different one wins.

Could be, but i was talking abopur worldwide sales. In Jap, the PS3 already has good sales.

If you are talking about worldwide sales, then no. The PS3 would not be anywhere close to Wii sales after the initial boost.
