| --OkeyDokey-- said: Here's a quote from IGN's Guilty Gear XX Wii review. "But using the Wii Remote and Nunchuck is terrible. Accent Core is a member of a long line of extremely fast 2D fighters, and you don't use motion controls for those types of games. It just doesn't work. The only way to get around it is to use the buttons instead, which means that you use the joystick to move (which is tragically inaccurate, especially when dashing) and the Wii Remote's D-Pad for inputting attacks. Left, down, up and right are punch, kick, slash and heavy slash, respectively. No. This will not work either. It's uncomfortable and clumsy, and it ruins the game. The default controls are terrible, and truly ruin a fun experience. If you have the Classic Controller though, you're basically getting the PS2 experience which is a great time." Score: 5.9 Tekken 6 on Wii would be the exact same situation. They could make a Wii version, but it would get slammed by reviewers and probably sell <500k. Would it really be worth it? |
Don't bother. I've written like 5-8 posts in this thread all explaining why it wouldn't work poorly and all i've seen is ignorance in replies ignoring completely the points while countering with things i've already explained why they aren't viable. And excuses. It doesn't matter. They're just gonna keep on whining about it.
