no...I don't see that happening.
In order for the Wii to reach and then surpass PS2 sales, they would need to also have all the hardcore gamers on board with them apart from just the causal, as well as having every AAA 3rd party game even if multiplaform on the wii, these are 2 things the wii lacks, and this is my reasoning to why the wii won't touch the PS2 sales.
