You know wiisley the very well could be but I think I'd prefer to see them try their hands at a completely new IP. Both would be great games but I'd like to see what Retro could come up with on their own.

@Tres: Retro have been busier than it seems I think.. They've done Trilogy, which was finished last year and took a small team and they've helped Ubisoft with Red Steel 2, but that's just what we've seen on the surface.

They've had to sort themselves out after having 3 top people leave and a top programmer die. They've been rumoured to have been working on Zelda, perhaps prototyping different things, which leads me to my main point..

Nintendo make prototypes of games all the time, sometimes a small team of 3 - 5 people will be working on a prototype for years until it's ready to go into fullscale production. If Retro are indeed making a brand new IP then I think that's what has been happening and why it's taking 3 years for a new game to come from them. Remember, Retro are Nintendo and that's how nintendo does things and it's why Nintendo titles are on average, higher quality.
