You lost right there. PS3 games selling 500K don't become better than selling 500K on the Wii because there are less systems bought. It would actually make less profit due to the cost.
Userbase is just bullshit invented to pretend the top system is doing worse. It didn't work against the PS2 (from Xbox fanboys) and it won't work here. Nintendo made plenty of profit off Punch Out. It wasn't magically less because of the userbase.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
