Would you really release a game you've put a lot into on one more machine to perhaps make a little more profit, if it meant gimping the game ? The psp has a flawless control setup. The wii + nunchuck is not. Atleast for this game. Because of the way you control.
Half the people complaining in here probably hasn't even played it because you make it out to be something that's irrelevent when it's clearly a big deal.
Personally I wouldn't gimp my games controls just to get a few more cash. Especially when it meant ekstra development costs, not to mention that they would already make their money back plus more on the other versions. There are good reason for the psp version. 1 it has a fanbase. 2 The tekken franchise has always with the exception of tekken advance and now tekken 6 on the 360 been exclusive to the playstation consoles. 3. The control setup. This is the real deal breaker. 4. Ekstra development costs. They would have to port the game and they don't know if it would gain any fanbase, not to mention once again.. they would have to ruin the controls. |
If it was the controls that were the problem(which obviously they are not, there are other options) why wouldn't Namco mention them opposed to "it isn't powerful enough."?
