it's not the end of gaming as we know it grey.
It's the beginning of a new era. All it really needs is some more support, and a different approach.
Nintendo has done a pretty good job, it's just that their objective is something different than yours. Their key is to expand the market and target more people who would normally not play games. If you don't fall into that demographic, then of course you will have an easy time finding problems with it.
There may be a strategy of taking in both demographics, which nintendo is most suitably apt to do in the next gen, so it will be interesting to see how that pans out.
