They hate it because they are stupid and unintelligent. Anyone hating something plastic really needs to get a life.
Personally, I have more than enough games to play on Wii. I think, in the coming up for three years I have owned the console, I have had at least 2 games a month to play and enjoy. If people aren't satisfied with that so be it.
