If Sony had slimed the PS3 down and not overburdened it with another `hi-def` gimicks, then had dropped the price even more, that would be positive sign. The current situation is clear signal of Sony still misinterpreting gaming market, even though I, for a moment, though of the opposite after all recent news.

So shaving off $100 from the PS3 and sitting at $299 is negative?

What do you think of the $299 Elite by the way with it's lack of audio options, bluray, wifi and free online?

 

Keep the price right where it is or can you direct me to where you have a thread bitching about them too? They are screwing over us who want these features for the kind of price they are asking.
