Vgchatz numbers are not accurate, never were, never will be. They get adjusted and estimates get placed on them weekly and then adjusted whenever official data comes in. They are a indication, nothing more. Anyone using Vgchartz numbers in any sort of factual argument has lost before they even started.

Several key sites like Neogaf posting Vgchartz numbers is bannable because of the inaccuracy, post them on IGN and get mocked and laughed at etc...

I am not trying to undermind ioi's work, he's doing a service and the best he can, but the facts are the facts and Vgchartz numbers are just not to be trusted and are not credible.

Vgchartz's numbers get adjusted whenever better data is made available, which is precisely why they should be trusted. Recent weeks' numbers should be taken with a grain of salt, but accuracy has also been improving there!
