The thing you need to remember is, a week ago the Wii was only 150$ cheaper than the PS3, and didn't have any good games release since Mario Kart Wii over a year ago, and it was still outselling the PS3 3-1. Is a 100$ price drop really going to triple the PS3 sales, permanently?
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
