Makes very little sense to combine them. Even so, it is much easier to develop for one console than two, and a lower-end console at that. Not to mention that there is a chance that the Wii will succeed combined sales - not that it will mean anything anymore. Also you need to clarify what it is about the Wii and it's games you do not want, and why you believe that if the Wii beats both hd consoles combined that the industry will follow this path. I can't see anything where people just trying to mimic another successful company as being the standard, so I don't think you have worries there.
