Smart move! Keep your laptop plugged in with the adapter all the time so you could use it as your BD player on your TV.
Great way to kill your laptop battery.
I did that and so did my girlfriend, now we are lucky if our laptops don't die 5-10 mins after unplugging them.
I guess it's no biggy though, you already dropped $1000 on it, what is another $120 on a 12V replacement battery?
