I don't get it. Please correct me if I am wrong.

PS3 price cut won't put PS3 above the 360 in weekly sales for a prolonged period of time because those who wanted it already would have gotten it?

Now what about when PS3 was outselling the 360 for like 36 straight weeks. 360 drops last year shouldn't have propelled the 360 past the PS3 in weekly sales up until now since everyone who wanted one already would have bought one right?

Is this what I am reading? Please oh god say it's not. That is just silly.

I didn't know only 50M or so people existed in the world.

 

People wait for price drops all the time. To think otherwise is just nonsense.
