Its especially bad when the grinding changes online aspects. Changing gameplay in reasonable aspects, maybe speed plays like Prince of Persia or really exploring worlds like Bioshock diaries or plasmid upgrades are positive. But things like finding a stable online league in MLB the show to play enough and win or forcing players to kill X amount via melee in a single online match really detract from how games should be played because it becomes more about luck in finding determined gamers (The Show) and makes people focus individually rather than team oriented in Killzone.
Its very frustrating.
